Copco Lake Sportsman's Club Trophy Presentation 2000

The trophy presentation, meeting and potluck was held at the Copco Lake Community Center on December 2, 2000. Trophies were presented as follows:

Junior Members: Brad Hall Bass-1 lb.5 ozs.

Jeremy Stear Perch-10 1/4"

Senior Members: Denny Dana Bass-5 lbs. 11 ozs.

The Buck Trophy was won by Brad Hall 19 1/16" spread.

Jim Finses won the drawing for the fishing pole and then donated it to the Junior Member that catches the largest perch in year 2001 Fishing Derby.

The members of the Sportsman's Club presented a special plaque to Murrel Wigington for his dedication and commitment for the protection and enhancement of the trout population at Shovel Creek. Murrel was extremely appreciative of this award and he wants to thank the Copco Lake Sportsman Club members for the award. Murrel started working at the Fish Hatchery on Snackenburg Creek in 1982 and continued that project for 6 years, then switched over to the improvements on Shovel Creek.
