Copco Lake Store is a family operation that began in the early 1980's and has remained an important part of life for The Lemke family. As the third generation is coming of age, you can also find them doing odd jobs at the store from time to time.

Gloria Lemke, who saw the origin of the store, still works part time and holds a wealth of information for anyone that is interested in the [history] of the area. Following Gloria in the operation of the store is her son, Kitt Lemke and his wife Diane. Their two children include Kady and Jason .

Copco Lake Store has a selection of commonly used grocery store items. Soft drinks, beer and wine, ice cream, milk, eggs, bagged ice and cigarettes are available along with many other items.

The store also stocks a wide selection of fishing lures, tackle and other appropriate baits for the lake and river.

Gas is not available at Copco Lake, so it is advisable to fill your tanks before visiting. The nearest station is 20 miles away.
